Printable Book Labels
One of the more fascinating aspects of making personalized stationery for people is learning about some of the many different ways Moms, Dads and educators use printable book labels. I thought I would share an idea with everyone that is simple, yet very creative and will help with general organization. A book label or bookplate is often used for identifying a book by its owner or possibly a donor. Recently a friend of mine told me about using printable book labels to label craft boxes.

This is a great idea! Schools, churches and camps all use pencils, glue, staplers, markers (the list goes on and on) and when placed in boxes on a shelf, they often times have to be pulled down and the contents viewed before they are put to use. By labeling these boxes by their content, along with the group (or age class) they belong to, the inevitable mis-matching of kids crafts inside, the contents and the cases of missing boxes (boxes can grow legs) can be avoided. You will always know who the craft boxes belong to and what's inside.
Organizing kids craft boxes with printable book labels can help bring a little organization to a lot of volunteers at the school or youth group where it just did not exist before.
Make it a great day using printable book labels!

When you read to your children, do you label their books with the date, or possibly the person who gave the book. Read about how you can inspire your kids to read themselves by using childrens bookplates each time the two of you pick up a book together.
Perhaps one of the neatest things you can do with printable book labels is use them on childrens books. Personalize a set of childrens book plates and let your children read them when they are older and can understand your intention.
If you are looking for a fun project to do with your Scout Troop or Church Youth group, how about creating donated book plates and placing them on Bibles or Nursery School books with your association's name on them.
